We are delighted to announce some exciting news in the development of HatHats Coffee! Starting on Monday December 5th we will be trailing our little ‘Hattie Van’ in Canterbury City Centre in the Buttermarket (Outside the Cathedral Gates). The van will be there 7 days per week in the run up to Christmas serving our own blend of coffee, premium hot chocolates, fine teas and unique handmade cakes.
We are delighted to be working with Canterbury City Council on the trial and want to thank Anton and Laura in the town’s licensing team for all their help and support.
This development has now only made us more focused on securing a second vehicle. We have been thinking for a few weeks that the success of our ‘Hattie van’ since her maiden voyage in July means we needed to invest in a second vehicle to help support the numerous events we are asked to attend every week as well as grow our current round. We are now more focused than ever in getting another vehicle underway.
Obviously the restoration of a classic vehicle takes time, you will know the issues we had with our current vehicle and getting her on the road. This time we are going to engage our good friend and classic vehicle expert Alan at the very beginning of the process and get his expert eye in assessing possible vehicles that won’t have all the issues our current van had when we purchased her. In the short term we will be looking for a more modern van to help service the current commitments. We will post another update very soon on this.
We hope in the coming week or so, to be able to make another announcement on the second vehicle. However, whilst we establish the Canterbury pitch we will not be on our usual round or at Chestfield & Swalecliffe station. We promise to restore service as soon as possible, if you are on one of our office email alert lists (check your inbox for more info).
If you are doing a spot of Christmas shopping in Canterbury, or maybe you are one of the city’s workforce make sure you come and say hello.
If you would like more information on this announcement please do not hesitate to contact the office via email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01227 282 902
